June 2024 Pilot
- This section governs your participation in the closed pilot program ("Pilot") for the MLAWizard platform. Participation is by invitation only and is subject to selection by MLAWizard.
- Eligibility & Access: Participants must be current medical students selected by MLAWizard. Access to the Pilot version of the platform will be granted via a unique, non-transferable access code. This access is for a limited time and is subject to the terms outlined herein.
- Feedback & Incentives: Participants are encouraged to provide feedback on the platform's features and functionality through the built-in systems. In recognition of this contribution, participants may earn "points". These points may be redeemable for rewards, such as merchandise or other items ("Prizes"). The awarding of points, the redemption rate, and the availability of any Prizes are at the sole discretion of MLAWizard, are subject to change without notice, and are not guaranteed.
- Data Collection & Use: By participating in the Pilot, you consent to the collection and analysis of your usage data, interaction patterns, performance metrics, and any feedback you provide. MLAWizard reserves the right to use this collected data for any purpose, including but not limited to, product development, service improvement, analytics, research, and marketing.
- License to Use Feedback: By submitting any feedback, comments, ideas, or suggestions ("Submissions"), you grant MLAWizard a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such Submissions in any form, media, or technology, for any purpose whatsoever, including for use in marketing materials and public testimonials, without any compensation to you.
- Confidentiality: As a participant, you agree to treat all non-public information about the Pilot platform, including its features and performance, as strictly confidential. You agree not to disclose this information to any third party without prior written consent from MLAWizard.
- Disclaimer of Warranty: The Pilot version of the platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. MLAWizard makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding its reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Termination: MLAWizard reserves the right to terminate your access to the Pilot at any time, for any reason, without notice.
November 2024 Focus Group
- Thank you for your interest in participating in our focus group for the clinical skills e-learning platform. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before proceeding.
- Eligibility: Participants must be 18 years or older, must be medical students or healthcare professionals, and must have experience using e-learning platforms for medical education.
- Voluntary Participation: Participation is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without penalty. If you need to withdraw, please inform us as soon as possible to allow for adjustments.
- Confidentiality: All information shared during the focus group is strictly confidential. Participants are prohibited from disclosing any information discussed to third parties. This includes, but is not limited to, details about the platform, other participants' opinions, and any unreleased features or plans discussed.
- Photography and Image Use: We may take photographs during the focus group for use on our website and in commercial or non-commercial materials. If you do not wish to show your face, please inform us. We can use images that do not show your full face. By accepting these terms, you grant permission to use these images. You have the right to request removal of any images showing your face at any time.
- Informed Consent: By accepting these terms and conditions, you are providing informed consent to participate in the focus group. This consent includes agreement to the confidentiality measures, and potential use of photographs as described above. You acknowledge that you have been fully informed about the purpose and nature of the focus group.
- Respectful Conduct: Participants are expected to engage in the focus group discussion with respect for others' opinions. Any form of disruptive behavior, offensive language, or harassment will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these conduct guidelines.
- Compensation: Eligible participants will receive a focus group participant pack as compensation upon successful completion of the session. The contents of this pack are at our discretion and may include merchandise, certificates, cash, or other items. To ensure the quality and value of our research, participant packs are provided to those who contribute meaningfully to the session's objectives. Successful completion includes providing comprehensive responses to all feedback materials and maintaining active participation throughout the scheduled duration. The participant pack will be distributed within 30 days after verification of session completion requirements.
- Data Security: Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. Data will be stored securely and used solely for the purposes outlined in this agreement. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
- Travel Expenses: Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses to and from the designated location. We will not reimburse participants for any travel-related costs, including but not limited to transportation, accommodation, or meals.
- Contact Information: Participants must provide accurate and up-to-date contact information for communication related to the focus group. This includes, but is not limited to, a valid email address. We will use this information solely for focus group-related communications.
- Changes to Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes via email. Continued participation after notification of changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.
